We had old linoleum and a rotten floor near the tub. We tore out the ceiling and exposed the rafters, decked the roof in cedar tongue and grove and put in a simple warehouse light. DH rewired and installed new faucets and the hand held. It's still in progress. I'm going to put the old vanity on legs (after refinishing) to give it a washstand look and color wash some beaded pine for the walls. I fell through the bathroom floor on the main floor when we bought the place. Guess that's what you get for buying a bargain from the bank.

Louise, your gardening when the old GF showed up is a wonderful story. Sounds like a great afternoon. Now don't make fun of me here, but I love to tile, iron, and split wood. Love to grow things to eat and cook best of all.

So Harper, here's a couple of photos. The bath is five feet half way down and then bumps in for a potty nook. Need to wait three days for the mastic to cure and then it can be grouted.
