Side view of the front. Still have spots to fill in. The area in the forefront is tough. The plow always dumps a huge pile in this area so it can remain wet for a long time. The soil itself is well draining and even a bit sandy. It's all-day sun and not usually irrigated much. So my approach has been to use drought-resistant type plants, but depending on how long the pile of snow/ice is there, it can look bad come spring.
