African Violets and Gesneriads: Last few days of May blooms, 0 by kimskreations

I am SO proud.
Lady slippers rarely get pollinated as bees are seldom in the woods and once a bee gets stuck in a lady slipper it learns to never go back.
So.........I run around playing bee getting bit by ticks and mosquitos to be sure that my ladies will continue on and that my grandchildren will be able to enjoy them someday. It takes 3 years for a seed to reach blooming size and out of the 1000's of seeds, maybe only 1 or 2 will land in the "right" spot to grow.

Oh well, I will continue to keep trying. I've been doing it for 2 years now. This will make the 3rd year :)
