Resin I hadn't thought about them not being hunted contributing to their tameness but it makes sense.

I had read that the little Hummers have different areas they will perch and rest and I have enough windows that I have observed this all day long. Since I am retired I have lots of time to bird watch and know how lucky I am to have discovered this passion and have the time to pursue it. What a great way to spend the day is all I can say!

Coo...I noticed that little females tongue...cracks me up!! Here is the male showing his tongue while perched on one of his resting perches.
