But I think it was the same season that I planted them. Like I planted them in the summer and they came up sometime that summer. It was a red hibiscus but there was also a peach one that was blooming also. This is a soft red. Not bright like the parent plant. That is the only time that I ever had a seed pod form on one. It was in the winter time in my sunroom when it was blooming. Linda |
