I have never seen black spot on either Rosa mutabilis or Crépuscule in my yard. Mutabilis will bloom more or less continuously from spring to fall - best flush of flowers is in spring but it will have at least a few flowers almost all the time and other flushes periodically. Crépuscule has its best flush in spring but will have smaller flushes throughout the summer until fall. Both of these are climbers/ramblers and will need a fence or trellis for support to look their best. If you want to grow R. mutabilis be sure to give it plenty of room and be prepared to cut it back - it can get pretty big. Here's a closeup of the flowers - they open almost white and age to dark pink.
