mitch i have 4 different heliconias the ones above are in the back of the yard where i have quite a lot of room for them to spread. they are huge though. i do have to cut back the dead leaves and plants about twice a year. the lobster claws i have int the front i will have to keep an eye on spreading. i plan on just digging up the outer plants to give away once they spread to far. i had to tie them up because the winds knocked a few over.
