It's raining so I'm sitting inside looking at everyone's beautiful flowers.  Good job everyone.One of my new favorites, at least to my area, is Persian Shield (Strobialanthus dyerianus).  I had to look that up, ya'll.  My Latin is lacking.    This purple and silver is irridescent and just shimmers in the garden.  I grew it for the first time last year and it bushed to four feet and was the plant everybody oohed and aahed over. Easy care, no staking but it did require water quite a bit.
