NM Jane, that Vermilion Flycatcher is a beauty! Adel, I love seeing your CA Quail, their little head decorations are too cute :-) Resin, thanks for bringing me back to reality on the Yellow-rumped Warbler, LOL, I do remember now that I had read they were just migrants for me :-( GP, I'm still waiting on you to send the Indigo Buntings my way ;-) I looked at the migration maps on enature.com and they don't show them here until around May 1st...guess I'll just have to be patient! I did notice on the Ruby-throat tracking map that they should be here any time now, that's so exciting, my feeders are going up next week. Here is a truly terrible pic of a new bird sighting for me, Cedar Waxwings from 3/13. You're right Pelle, they came around 6:30 when it's hard to get a photo, plus they were way up in the top of an old elm which didn't help matters. I guess they were just resting and checking out the scenery. There were a dozen or more and they stayed for about 15 minutes and I haven't seen them since.
