I like the sound of some of those temps you are having up there (except for Pixie's S.__W) I love sleeping with the windows open, and it's about to be too warm for that here. Also, with the warm temps come the slithering black "good for your garden" creatures. Yikes.......I just hate being surprised by them! That long skinny one I posted a picture of on Thanksgiving met his cruel demise on the sidewalk in front of our house when he ran into "New Midnight" the Cat from across the street. I wanted my DH to give Skinny a proper burial, but he was not willing to do more than provide a bit of a surprise for the garbage guy. I, of course, was not about to be a person of my own convictions. Chicken with a Capitol C!!!

Candyce - your walk with your little companion sounds like fun! It brought a smile when you described the rock inspection. Know it well! And I'm often the one doing the inspecting! Is there a gardener alive who doesn't like unusual stones and rocks??? I really love the ones with the pink veins in them. New England has wonderful stones and rocks to play with. Can you tell I'm missing it?? I will say it again.....Cancers should not be snowbirds!! LOL ....By the way....please ignore the photo that is posted here. It was a mistake and I can't get rid of it......it is a photo of a walking stick my DH made from a length of calomondin citrus wood; I meant to post a different photo. Oh well!
