Jill,

I think i will transplant my Vines soon in 4" or 5" pots and then give them a mini trellis to "climb on" and then just plant the whole thing outside and let the vines find their own way in their permanent trellises.

I have never had this many climbing vines to plant as i will have this year! Plus--I am sure I will have a zillion volunteers from last year's Grandpa Ots M.G. and also from my cardinal climber. I really have to decide which 2 I want to plant in the same pot to share the "glory".....Like------wouldn't Grandpa Otts look great with the Moon Vine? Or----my Cardinal Climber with some dazzling M.G.?
I have so many decisions to make this year as I keep acquiring new plants and my space just is a cramped as ever. I find myself going more and more to containers for some things....
Oh, well! Everything usually works out one way or another......

This is an Oncidium Orchid from the Rawlings Conservatory. Just loved the arching stem---there were so many pretty ones.......I was there last saturday for their Spring Bulb Show.....
