Thanks Resin...I suspected the birds could not tell the difference between the hawks and vultures! I watched 2 late feeding White Crowned Sparrows "freeze" for a good 5 minutes early yesterday eve. During the day ALL the birds will fly off while the vultures are overhead. You would think they would be eating less feed since they disappear so many times during the day but that is not the case. Someone told me yesterday that it is due to the fact that we had that late killing freeze last spring and there just isn't the food around they would usually have this time of the year. That would explain why I've had so may birds at the feeders all winter and still do!!

Thanks Pelle...I suspected the new software took over the default. I need to try and reset it.

I love the Junco's...but will they never leave?
