Christi - I too am enjoying a cooling off cuppa coffee - just came in from watering everything, now I need to go back out and do some cleanup...deadheading etc. My Hippies are blooming all over the yard, and then when the flowers are gone I have these stalks sticking up and looking odd all over the place. Gotta cut em down. I need to move two large bougainvilleas into more sun, and I just can't figure out where to put them. Funny how moving one or two plants turns into moving 10 or 12 plants! Yikes! Gotta wait for some muscle to show up before I can move them though...just thinking about it for now.

Here's a pic of one of my Desert Roses...some Tunera Ulmafolia in the pot as well for contrast color. I like the bright yellow next to the hot pink of the DR. This one is about 4ft. across and probably that high as well. Very old plant.
