Another example of man's folies. Oh yeah, someone else thought it would be great to import mongoose (they have no snakes on any of the Hawaiian islands) to combat the imported rats and mice. Instead they joined forces and ate the bird eggs. They are now down to 800 species instead of the former 3800. Man is nature's worst enemy. I always thought mongoose were large.
