I had poor brug seed germination in soil but great in rockwool so I switched. Also with clivia seeds, they rot easily but in rockwool no rotting. Friends into clivia use all sorts of antifungicides on the seeds but I rather not have them in the house. You can buy rockwool in sheets at hydroponic stores.
