I put old fruit out there, and I've had butterflies like: Buckeye, Red Admiral, Red-spotted Purple Admiral, Question Mark, Hackberry Emperor. In the picture, is the large crown of a Sunflower head. So yes, I was feeding the Cardinals. Currently, I put out old Bananas for my Mockingbird. I do have a couple of squirrels, but I've never seen them on the dish. They have clipped some Sunflowers off the plants and carried them off, but hey, I'm all for squirrels too. :^) |
