araness -- The gastric by-pass is the dangerous surgery and can not be reversed in case of complications so you are definetly doing the right thing with lap-band. I am so happy for you but you must keep up your strength because you will need it when you are slimmer and sexier as your husband will be chasing you thruout the house!
