These are a some of the flowering marvels that I enjoy on my slice of earth.
Most are asleep now, and as much as I miss them, I know they need their beauty rest in order to put on another spectacular show this year.
But patience eludes me: I am jonesin' for the Osmanthus & Daphne to begin their fragrant Siren's call.

Why does time in winter seem to slow down, while time in summer races?

I look forward to seeing the pear/apple trees break bud, new foliage on the Japanese maples & the Mason Bee houses empty for their Springtime labour.
