It faded to green, then brown. It was purchased as a three year old plant and is four years old in this picture. I have a dripper watering system (hydrangeas love this), so that it gets am water for 5 minutes. It receives approx 4 hours of morning sun in this location. I live in Houston central, near Rice University.
