The next plant is an Asian aroid called Scindapsus pictus. Their are a few clones of this species your for looks to have two different names Argyraeus or Exotica. The thing about this form that I like a lot but not a lot of people know is that it normally does not grow the way you see it in a pot. This plant wants to climb and when it does it is very interesting. It is in nature a shingler plant which means it grows flat to the surface of the tree that it is climbing up. Here is a photo of the exact same plant but this one is climbing up a rock wall. I think its much more interesting this way. |
