I went to Vt over the week end and was surprised to see this Monkshood, Aconitum napellus, still blooming away above my beloved Baker Brook. That is the stream I am trying to copy in Nantucket as I so miss the sound of the babbling brook when I am not there. My efforts are coming along. Though it is a little more modest in size. But none the less, my back is still killing me. Tomorrow I get to start the rock work if I get the seaming done. That will be the fun part. I am tired of digging holes!
