For the past couple of years one of the grade three teachers has done one at the school with her class. She's teaching a different grade this year though and isn't doing it. To be honest, I do this mainly because Sonora loves it. She's the one who asked for almost a year to have a scary party before I finally relented two years ago at Hallowe'en (she wanted to do it the February before).

So, this morning we woke up to the wonderful sight of snow. I LOVE winter. It probably helps that I rarely have to drive anywhere. Here are the kids enjoying the first of the snow on the ground. Sonora made a snowman and Ian enjoyed eating the snow off the car (yuck).
