cocoajuno wrote: Wow, wasn't yesterday the best fall day we have had in a long time...lol I was in the yard all day after my Dr.'s appt., until dusk..6:30PM! Thanks to all of you for your help. encouragement, and kind replies. Susybell, I love the idea, I had been toying with a trellis and possibly a vine but could not think of a vine that was green year round here?? I think it might be sometimers....lol Murmur will you be traveling to the trade? I still have a japanese maple stick tree for you and would love some of that wild tall verbena? Or I go to Edmonds to see the Dr. for the surgery....I go again in 12 weeks sometime in January. Not sure if you are ever in that area? Kathy, Did I send you enough info on the greenhouse? I did find the name of the place I bought the poly from and the screws you use for the poly...I will email you in a minute! I got so busy with Sister being here for 6 weeks and the back issues I forgot so many things, I am still trying to catch up....I even let the painting go outside and am trying to do some on the good autumn days??? Laurie, Our tea area is getting better everyday, I am like Redtootsiepop, I can't wait for it to fill in so I can overstuff it. By the time we have tea together maybe we will have a secret area...with the growth no one will be able to interupt....lol Thanks KatyMac, I can't wait until it fills in and I can add more...lol "Balvenie" I have been wondering about you! How is your back doing and did you make it outside yesterday to dig??? lol wasn't yesterday such a wonderful fall day! I have decided to do a pot or two for fall/winter and will be including some of the grass you gave me... Come have a seat anytime, I do not have the tea you served but I always have green tea and usually homemade oatmeal cookies, unless it is the day to bake them. Thanks tillysrat...He has been so super this season, I think it is because he realizes I will try to do it myself and make the back problem worse. He knows when "I have a mind to" it gets done! I may have overplanted then (whats new) I planted 1 pink and 1 white pampas and a miscanthus....I think big! In closing I chased this critter around Oct. 13th trying to get a good picture, he/she just lifted my soul seeing him/her flittering around, it really astonished me when he/she lit on my shoe. I think as I get older I get nuttier... because I do believe he/she was sent to me! Instead of pennies from heaven I get critters...LOL |
