OH...I'm always seeing brugs... perhaps driving along the classic shapes seem to stand out...once one is aware of them... trumpeted flowers..wavey edgeing.. pendelous stature..
Well.. most are aware of the dispersion of the Brugs from their beginnings in elevated regions of Central and South America.. and the long use of thesee in native cultures there..Shamen had developed a complete cure bag based on our Brugs... their importance there and in obvious similar magnetic qualities we enjoy... color / shape / and fragerance no doubt played a big part in their being revered.. and used..
OK.. to go onto the reason of this post.. 500 year old brug jewelry.. yesterday there was put on display a sacrifical 15 year old girl.. a maiden left high up in the Andes in Argentina.. my an Inca ceremony ...some 500 years ago.. pictures were included in this article of her ..dressed in finery.. given corn alcohol to put her to sleep... a bit of coca..for the high mountain trek..and I'd wager a bit of a Brug .. concoction then or before .. around her neck was a bunch of charms and jewelry... one of which looks to me to be a brug flower... a wavey edged trumpet shaped silver item... here's the picture ... what do you think... Gordon
OHand the link to the srticle... it's an AOL item so I don't know the accessibility of it to the general population.. but I bet a google search would pull up a similar article..
