I just got back from Corvallis, Oregon and celbrating my father's 89th birthday with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren whew! I know we tired him out, but he was a happy tired.

Anyway, while out walking, I saw a shrub, about 4 feet tall with pink blossoms at the end of its large branches. The branches grew up in a 'U" shape from the base of the stem. There was no fragrance to either the blossoms or the leaves. The blossoms where large, made up of smaller blossoms, and it looked a little bit like phlox, but this was definitely a shrub. I didn't have a camera, so I couldn't get a picture. :-(

Does anybody have an idea of what this could be?

Thanks,

Kathy
