Examples would be threadleaf coreopsis, asters, mums (unless they're those gigantic main-event mums) boltonia, baby's breath etc etc. Here is a photo of artemesia lactiflora ghizou and let's just call it 'artemesia' for short! I like it much better than baby's breath: great stems with the bonus of burgundy color, durable blooms that hold up much better than baby's breath for me.
