The leg description is yellowish brown, that fits both I guess, the first one may be reflecting light.

Although the diptera.info site described theirs as a female I'm not so sure.

This is the back view of the first one, I don't know if anything can be determined by the eyes on my pics, at less than 2mm wide it's a wonder I got these!
