Veggie garden (on South Hill) is doing very well plants are 5 + feet now with good fruit set. I can't say the same for the ones in my backyard ..... they've run outta time to recover, catch up, and fruit.

I'm glad you enjoyed your trip to Edmonton........aren't the temps here just wonderful?????? :( I'm sure we are around 90% humidity and are supposed to hit 37 degrees Celcius today (feels like will be well into the 40's). :'( We've had more hail and more severe weather warnings then I can remember this summer.

Thanks Ann. :) We've accepted the damage here (and I did hit a couple of 60 % off sales to fill in a few bare pots) but I'll really be in a funk if the south hill garden is hit. BTW our grass will take a year to recover from the film crew.


Nice to see it........really nice :^)))))) to see them winding down (pics taken on last day of shooting here). They pulled out fast and moved down to the high school my kids went too. Today they blocked off Main Street and are shooting there.

Finally caught the child actor (side shot)........... they are very protective of his image:
