I mean - if I keep deadheading the panies, will they continue to bloom? They are getting a little leggy - but everything is planted so close together it's hard to tell. If I just cut the pansies back, will they rebloom in the fall? are pansies perennial? Some have suggested that I start pansy seeds now and plant for a fall bloom - but that assumes that the current pansies will die over the summer. I am confused. Meanwhile, the impatiens are getting bigger everyday and the contrast between the pastel pansies and the neol impatiens is . . . well, unintentional. |
