crestedchik, i don't know what aphids or mealy bugs are, just that my friend pointed them out once when they were on my hibiscus, and they looked like pieces of uncooked rice...but my eyesight's shot too...
here's a pic of my deformed brug flower pods, though...should at least make interesting flowers, you think?
