It kept rotting from the bottom up, and everytime that it started to rot, i would cut off the bottom and stick it back in the dirt until I was finally left with " the nub" as I so fondly call it. I ignored it for a while-I mean, there really wasn't anything left to cut off... and a few months later I was cleaning out an area of plants and noticed that it was starting to put out some roots!
