Well now, another Texan will dive in. I "believe" the 'fly in question is a Phaon Crescent. I have photographed it mating at the Antique Rose Imporium, Independence, Texas. However, like all of them, the underside is the best place to draw a firm conclusion. Pearl does not have the "dot" (pale crescent) in the middle of the FW outer margin. And, with better light, the cream-colored FW median band stands out.
