I feed mine a good grade of alfafa hay and an occasional handfull of grain. They tend to get fat anyway and being leaner is better for birthing. we lost 2 does this spring, both with twins, because of giving birth when they were too fat. But we had lots who made it too, here are 2 more, we call Bonnie and Clyde.
