We have 2 females who only weigh about 35 lbs and both os them had twins this spring. But if you want something to eat your weeds.....Think again.. these little devils are pretty fussy eaters. I feed mine a good grade of alfafa hay and an occasional handfull of grain. They tend to get fat anyway and being leaner is better for birthing. we lost 2 does this spring, both with twins, because of giving birth when they were too fat. But we had lots who made it too, here are 2 more, we call Bonnie and Clyde. |
