and here are two of them on my deck this afternoon. They are as big as the parents now but still acting like babies. They make the exact same screech they made when they were nest bound. I missed getting a picture of the two of them hunkering down with their mouths wide open and their wings wiggleing when a parent landed near them. I can tell that this phase is going to end soon and the parents will start ignoring their helpless act. I wonder if they will lay eggs again in the same nest?
