I do not mix in layers I ususally mix it in a wheel barrell then put in buckets. Another don't laugh I have dead fish mixed in some of them. Heck the Indians did it. My container plants are way ahead of the ground ones. I just drill one small hole in the side of the bucket. Say 1/4 inch and no bigger. That way you will not drown the plant. If you have earth boxes you know probably more than I do about growing vegetables. These are some of my peas also there is cabbage,some more tomatos and okra along with several other things I can't remember right now. |
