This piece of wood is, I think, walnut. From my dad's workshop after he died. He had many of these piece of wood he would make all kinds of things with. Wished I had saved more of them.

So decided to use a couple of them in the corner of the benches. Not the right height, but hey, it looks good I think and is a good memory for me.

Might put like a pot of geraniums on it.

Edited to say, note the piece of cedar fence for a small piece.
