I stopped by a friend's house around sunset and her neighbor had a lovely night jasmine (I think...correct me if I'm wrong). the scent was so strong I knew it was there before going over to see it closer. As I got closer, there was what I originally thought was a hummingbird fluttering to-and-fro, stopping for sips of nectar. I slowly retreated to my car where I just happened to have my digital camera and snapped a few pictures before the battery died. Are there several varieties of hummer-moths and if so, what is this one?
