They sure don't give you enough. The gap is like 1" and I do not like that. Too much space. I do want a gap but not that much. So am trying to figure out what to do about this situation.

May add some boards at the ends so it doesn't look bad but need to figure out what boards to use. I have some neat redwood pieces from my dad that he got years ago and was going to build things with it. I only have 2 of them. Wished I had saved more!
So more work needs to be done for this before I can finally screw the slats down. Can't wait!

Do love the pretty colored of the redwood tho!
