The two out in the yard, which is the coldest, dampest place of the three locations, got black tip! My Singapore got black tip too. Interesting! I just snapped the tip off with my fingers and put them against the house. The others did not get black tip. This just re-enforces the theory that black tip is related to damp cold conditions as it is much warmer in the other locations. We just had some cold rain here as well. Here's a picture of them last August.
