I thought the little toad looked rather thin, Pat, because, my toads, the young as well as the older ones almost always have huge bellies that stick out on both sides. But that must be because of the incredible amount of snails and slugs that terrorize my treasures.

This is a last year's picture that illustrate the 'normal' appearance of my toads, later on in the year. It was still a young one.
