bombadill wrote: Great looking plant there ! very healthy and green. How old is that little beauty? I've got one that i've had for about 8 years, i'll try to post a pic of it. These are the hardiest plants i've ever grown, withstanding deep shade and intense sun. They are also the easiest plants i've ever encountered for propagting via cuttings. Just snap a small branch off and stick it in your potting mix, water it and within a few months you'll start to see new growth on teh cutting. I've given away maybe 10 babies form the one mother that i got long ago when she was just a small 3 inch tall sprout in a 4 inch pot. it's always the one plant that peopel comment on most in my collection and it's babies make great gifts becasue they're really easy to care for. I've got mine in a 3 gallon pot at the moment and come spring, i'm going to put her outside in teh sun and repot her into a 10 gallon pot because i want to see how big i can get her. I've never seen a larger specemine than the one i have, but i really haven't seen that many specemines at all since it is a pretty rare plant. thanks for posting Sylver |
