Starlight.....From what I understand bird's diet change with their enviroment or needs. Some will eat seeds and insects both. Some only feed on the ground or in the trees. Some birds eat fruit in summer, but need the grains in the winter to help them keep warm. I bet some one will answer that question better if you keep reading on our new bird forum!!
