If you are going to get a hard freeze I would take some cuttings before just to be sure in case it dies on you. I left my EP out all last winter and it did pretty good even in our 1 frost. Usually Versicolors can be a bit more cold sensitive. It always gets weird bark with the real cold weather though. More so than my other brugs. If you do leave it out, I would throw a sheet over it at night if you are expecting a frost. If it gets down below 30 degrees and stays there for awhile, you could have big problems. |
