I have a little baby of 'Party Girl' that's still a long way from first bloom, I think. When we were down in NC, I picked up this lovely... 'Iced Amethyst Show-Off'. I didn't even know that there were streps with variegated leaves! If we had been heading home from Winston-Salem rather than going to the beach for a week and a half, I would have indulged in some new AVs also, and I'm regretting not picking up a little 'Iced Pink Flamingo' that she had also.... But I'm delighted with my new purple one!!

Here it is at the beach. My MIL found the perfect container for it... a vase that her mother used for years to make altar arrangements! She didn't offer at first, and I didn't ask, but after the plant had sat around all week looking gorgeous in this vase, she packed it up that last morning and told me I had to take it along. She's a lovely lady! :-)
