By the way...this is a Snout chrysalis. It's only about 3/4" long. My dad found it last weekend when he was weeding and saved it for me. I brought it home with me thinking it was some kind of lyside but a Snout emerged a couple of days ago.

(I know it sounds odd to say 'but a Snout' but you have to understand we have billions of those butterflies out here).

It was still very cute and I released it in my backyard...to join the other gazillion Snouts :o)
