Although the article on the site you linked suggests that these are hard to ID for sure, because there are several other butterflies with the same size and colors. Those shots were actually taken out in my field (I live on 6 acres) and the Cowpen Daisy patch is growing wild out there in an area that gets a little extra water from the lateral lines of a septic system. So these survived the summer drought and are now thriving with the little bit of extra rain we've gotten lately and cooler temps. KB . . . Thanks :) Yeah I took about 20 pics (in this set alone) and was only able capture that blue reflection in a few. I think you'll love these daises . . . they attract ALLLLLLL SORTS of stuff :D I can go out there anytime and see at least 20 different types of butterflies & cats, dragonflies, bees, moths, grasshoppers, etc. Seems like everything loves these plants. I posted some pics about a month ago of some of the other butterflies and cats (Bordered Patch) on this same patch of plants . . . not sure if you caught that thread or not?
