Tropicals & Tender Perennials: ID ideas needed, 0 by ardesia

This is growing in a friend's garden and we are trying to ID it for an upcoming garden tour there. I posted on the ID forum and both crinum and ornithogalum were suggested but I am not sure either of those plants fit this one.
The leaves are strap like and the flowers are arranged up the stem and are an inch or so apart. I could not get closer to get a better photo. The flower is about an 1 1/2" and it is blooming right now
