The true test or clue of altered colors is to look at the greens. In this picture below, the top is what the camera faithfully saw with a blue shift because the light was reflected light going through dirty greenhouse panels as the sun was just coming up. The bottom is what my eyes beheld. I corrected the color on it. I did not in anyway enhance the color, just decreased the blue shift to normalize the color, making it appear true to what full sun would produce. I have been into photography since the late 60's and had my own studio so my corrections were based on my many years of experience. The color of these flowers appear right smack in the middle of the indigo to violet range of the spectrum. X |
