Pacific Northwest Gardening: Blooming Iris in the Fall??, 0 by designmom

Is this normal for them to bloom in the Fall? I planted the bulbs in the Fall of 2003 and this is the first year for Fall blooms. Actually this was the first year for Spring blooms as well. Any info on Irises would be much appreciated.
