Sashagirl wrote: Good Morning, all! Laura, You've got a couple full days ahead of you! Sounds like the weather will cooperate, at least. Ouch! That's a lot of moolah for a truck, but really cheap for a Pete, I would imagine. Neighbor just bought a huge dump truck--100 grand. oil change, several hundred, new tire-$399.98. I could go on and on. Then add the high Deisel costs and all the insurance, etc., etc-trucking is not for the faint of heart. So glad you're getting Med. care, soon. It's such a bummer to be down. We pray your relatives will gain comfort and peace from your family's support. About the EE's, you can wait till after the first freeze, but I usually try to do it a little before, after the first frost "melts the tops." I cut them off 3-4" above ground, dig them up, clean them off good, and store in a breathable basket in dark warm closet. I have some in deep shade, partial shade, and the ones by the garage get 6 hours full sun (morning sun), but are in shade after 1pm Water, water water-that's the big issue, especially when the "Ears" get so big. Darius, I hope you slept like a log, last night. Sounds like you had a LOOOng day. what goodies(from storage) did you rescue. Hope everything was as you left it-and no damage to anything. Bonnie, How's Mr.B? Hope he's getting relief from the itching! Poor Sasha has that problem, too, off and on. Maria, Sad to say, it really takes much time to regain your strength after having pneumonia. Please take care and don't overdo. Carat, I'm with you on the light thing. I remember when DH and I first got married, seemed like he was always turning lights off, in the wintertime, that I had just turned on. I took it for a couple weeks, then told him, in no uncertain terms, to STOP it. Those lights were critical to my sanity, in dark, dreary weather. He didn't understand it, but is supportive of my needs, Thank God. In the winter, our nutty neighbors(grin) refer to our place as "The lights in the East"!!!LOL I just tell 'em, "Laugh, you fools,, I'm the only SANE one in the bunch!!" hee hee. Time to start slapping that pavement-it's a beautiful morning for a walk! Later, Dudettes! Deanna |
